What a wonderful week this was! General conference, and some other amazing experiences. I will start with some of my favorite things from conference"
Elder Neil L Anderson said, "Spiritaul questions require spiritual answers" I know that if we ask God, he will answer our questions and tell us the truth. You can know the truth of all things if you ask of God with sincere intent, believeing in faith that you will recieve an answer. Moroni 10. 3 through 5!
Elder Bednar said, "Devoted desciples of Jesus Christ always have been and always will be missionaries" Never be afraid to share the gospel of Jesus Christ! Share what you love and let people know that they can find true happiness through the gospel of Jesus Christ!
One of my favorites, from President Monson, "His path will take us safely home" Never forget where true happiness comes from, and never forget who you are and where you are going! Gods way is the best way and when you are on his side he will bless you with what you need!
So, this week Elder Thorne and I had a very unique experience. Every friday we do this thing called CRE where we teach "Less active member". The reason for the quotation marks is because for the first four week it was on teaching latino companionships that were in the CCM. But, last thursday they told us that the next day we would be teaching actual less active members! We were all very excited and we prepared a lesson on receiving revelation by going to church. So, on Friday we go and they begin assigning companionships to less active members. Well, they did not have enough and told Elder Thorne and I that we would have to wait and just teach someone that had already been taught. We were kindof bummed, but we were fine and we sat down waiting for someone to finish. As we were waiting, our teacher Hermana Bruno walks in and tells us that there would be a change in plans, we were actually going to be teaching a real investigator! Another teacher had been walking to work when they had the prompting to talk to a family as they were walking by the temple. So, they stopped and asked them if they would like to hear a message about Jesus Christ and learn more about the church that built the temple, and they said yes! So, we scrapped our lesson on church attendance, grabbed a pamphlet on the restauracion and prayed for help from the spirit! We go into a room with a man named Javier and his son Cristofer, who was 9. We taught the best lesson we have ever taught and we were spot on with everything! The coolest thing for me was that the spirit whispered words to me that I had never even learned, I took faith and said them and they were the exact words that I was looking for! My spanish was better than ever and I know without a doubt that it was not me! They were so prepared to hear the gospel it was amazing! We offered them a Book of Mormon, and they both said that they would love to learn that it was true. We had only brought one Book of Mormon, and so Elder Throne ended up giving Cristofer the copy that he had tabbed all of the places that the Book of Mormon answers questions of the soul, and he wrote it in spanish! Not a coincidence! At the end of the lesson I felt prompted so strongly. stronger than anything in my entire life, that we need to invite them to follow Jesucristo and be baptised. So, right when we were about to end we explained why it was important and invited them to seguir el ejemplo de Jesucristo al ser bautizado por alguin que posea la atoridad del socerdocio de dios. And you know what? They both accepted and said that they wanted the gospel in their lives!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! I have never been filled with so much joy or so much love in my entire life! The sad part is that we will not be able to teach them anymore because we leave for Quetzaltenango in a week. The best part is that Elder Mannings best friend that baptised him is serving in the mission that they live and will be teaching them! God prepared these people to hear the gospel, and now that we are his servants we are doing his work! I love it!
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share the joy that this gospel brings to my life! El libro de mormon is verdadero! The Book of Mormon is true! Medianted sincero oracion y sincero leiendo podemos conocer las verdad de todos las cosas! Through sincere pray and reading we can know the truth of all things! Jose Smith fue un profeta verdadero y el dice con nuestro padre celestial y Jesucristo. Joseph smith was a true prophet and he did talk to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! La iglesia de Jesucrito de los santos de los ultimos dias es la iglesia restaurado!

Happy Birthday Aunt Jage and Aunt Jaci! I love you both very much and I love sharing a birth month with two of the best people in the world! Awesome job mike on your grades! Love you dude!
I asked Gabe when they leave the CCM and this is his reply. "We leave a week from yesterday! No details, just that it is a 4 hour ride and super beautiful!" They leave on Tuesday October 14, 2014 at 7:00 AM. On to the next adventure! He said he is super excited!
The first photo is a picture of Elder Richardson's branch. The second photo is a picture of his district. He spends alot of time learning and teaching with his district. They decided to all wear sweaters in that photo!
